Drives Experts Warranty Returns Procedure

Please find below the details of our updated warranty-returns process. Before returning any goods under warranty, you must obtain an RMA (Returns Materials Authorisation) number. Products sent without a valid RMA will be returned to you at your expense and may incur a restocking charge.

  1. Contact our Customer Service Team

  2. Request your RMA number
    In your email, please state that you require an RMA for warranty return.

  3. Confirm the return details
    Reply with a list of the exact products (part numbers and quantities) you wish to return.

  4. RMA approval and documentation
    Once reviewed, Drives Experts will issue an RMA number and send you an RMA advice note. This note must accompany all items returned under that RMA.

  5. Multiple-box shipments
    If returning more than one package, clearly mark each box with the assigned RMA number (and any internal reference you wish to include).

  6. Complete returns only
    Items received with missing parts will not be credited unless pre-approved. Control packs must be returned complete; incomplete packs will be held pending your instructions and may not be credited.

  7. Credit or replacement
    All returned products confirmed by Drives Experts as faulty and within warranty will be processed for credit or replacement at our discretion.

  8. Stock-cleanse returns
    Products returned outside of a genuine warranty claim (e.g., general stock clearance) will not be credited. Such items will be stored until you arrange either re-collection or re-delivery, both at your expense.

  9. Packaging and pallet quantities
    When requesting an RMA, please indicate the minimum and maximum number of pallets you expect to return or have collected. Small-item returns (single units or small quantities) may be sent via postal or courier services of your choice.

  10. Excluded product lines
    Please note that bespoke assemblies and custom-configured drives are handled under a separate returns protocol. For these items, submit a detailed fault report along with photographs; Drives Experts will then advise on the approved return process.
